Bio

My name is Kamele, which means the song in Hawaiian, but most people like to call me Mellie. My middle name is a whopping 44 letters long, so I'll spare you. August 17th is my birthday; I'm a 21-year-old Leo born in the year of the Dragon, grown on a beautiful island in Hawaii. My boyfriend and I are due with our first child on October 27th!

I'm slightly OCD about certain things, most of which are visual, like matching, organization, and symmetry. Some say I'm critical or nit-picky, but I like to think of it as taking pride in myself and everything I do. I may not be perfect, but it won't keep me from trying. Jack of all trades and master of a few.

My current obsessions include singing, crafts, origami, decorating, texting, and preparing for my baby's arrival. I also spend a lot of time on the internet and couldn't live without it. Seriously.

This journal is mostly used to track my boring life, especially now that I'm experiencing pregnancy and parenting for the very first time. I try to write about positive things, though I do have a tendency to rant and whine when I'm frustrated or need to feel validated.

I love reading my f-list and learning about other people. In a way, it helps me learn about myself. This makes me a LiveJournal stalker and I will probably be all up in your business if you chose to friend me. You have been warned.
